The fund is a registered Section 12J VCC (FSP 48248; VCC-0061) in South Africa. It focuses on early stage investments (mainly in South Africa) between US$100k (ZAR1mil) and US$1 mil (ZAR15 mil)

Savvy Business Village

Enterprise support & business advisory for start-ups and early stage companies through our 6-month acceleration programme and on-going business support for our portfolio (investee) companies

Founders' Fund

Certain investments in ventures still at seed stage (and that are part of Savvy Business Village programmes) are held as part of the firm's own portfolio. Investment size ranging from ZAR 50,000 (US$ 5,000 ex SA) to ZAR 500,000 (US$ 50,000 ex SA)

Our Story

Savvy Venture Partners (Pty) Ltd. (“Savvy VP”) is a South African-based venture capital, investment holdings and business advisory firm founded in 2015. The company is a Level 1 B-BBEE contributor and 100% black-owned firm.

Our Savvy Venture Fund I (FSP 48248) invests in early stage ventures primarily operating in consumer-facing sectors in South Africa.

We have a presence in Johannesburg, South Africa and Maputo, Mozambique. The company is an investor in various businesses and projects with the aim of generating above average investment returns for its shareholders, investors and partners. In addition, our role is to be a partner (through Savvy Business Village) in various small and emerging business ventures that have sustainable and scalable cash generative business models.
